Office Manager

We are therefore looking for a high-performing Office Manager who will be critical to the overall success of Eligo Bioscience by leading the office administration. The office manager will report to and work in close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer.

  • Leading overall office administration
  • Handling mail and distribution services, office reception, office equipment, utility services
  • Evaluating and improving office production
  • Organize office operations and Human Resources procedures
  • Be the contact person for maintenance, mailing, purchasing, supplies, equipment, and bills
  • Manage (follow-up and validation) and input the expense reports and invoices (in and out) in the online ERP
  • Report to and work in close relationship with the CFO and accounting offices (analytical accounting by projects, activities, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Manage contracts and prices negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease


  • At least three years’ experience in similar functions
  • Prior experience in a scientific, spin-off, or research environment is an asset
  • Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Good knowledge or experience with analytical accountancy
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Start-up minded, resourceful, flexible, autonomous, rigorous, and responsible
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
